Enquiries relating to Cranbrook family history should be addressed to
Betty Carmen, the Cranbrook Museum Archivist.
Betty has, over many years, built up the archives in the museum with both placename references and family surname files.
It is a comprehensive archive with many original documents. The museum has won the accreditation award from the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council for providing a high quality service.
Local people should visit the museum and others can have the research done and sent to them for a small donation to museum funds.
